Northwich care home delighted after being named in the region’s top 20

A Northwich care home is celebrating being named in the North West’s top 20 thanks to its residents and their families.

Acorn Meadow, run by HC-One, has been recognized at the annual Care Home Awards, organized by care home directory and comparison website Carehome.co.uk.

The awards are divided into UK regions and are based on individual review scores received from residents, relatives and friends.

Rostock Glaram Care Home has received an overall rating of 10/10 for its high standards of care based on an independent review.

“Our residents and their families, friends and loved ones are always at the heart of everything we do at Acorn Meadow,” said Steve McCarthy, home manager at Acorn Meadow.

“It’s meaningful for the world to know that the dedication and kind care of the whole team is recognized by them, as seen in independent reviews on carehome.co.uk and as a top 20 care home in the North West. This is reflected in our facility’s standing.”

The 48-bed home, which provides residential dementia services to the local community, also achieved a ‘good’ rating in all categories in the latest CQC report for February 2022.

Acorn Meadow was renovated in 2022, with renovations to the communal lounge and dining room to create a space for all residents to enjoy.
