Two Bolton coffee shops and takeaways announce new food hygiene ratings

One Bolton coffee shop and two Bolton takeaways have been given new food hygiene ratings, according to the Food Standards Agency website.

Inspecting food handling, cleanliness and condition of facilities and buildings, and food safety management, inspectors rated two restaurants 3 out of 5 and one restaurant 2 out of 5 on food hygiene ratings.

Coffee Tree Limited, 545 Chorley New Road, Horwich, was rated 3 after an inspection on January 23.

Coffee Tree Limited sells a wide range of products from hot drinks such as coffee, tea and hot chocolate to fresh pastries and desserts.

The coffee shop is open Sunday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

According to the inspection report on the Food Standards Agency’s website, the restaurant was generally satisfactory on all counts.

chili’s pizza (Image: Google Maps)Chili’s Pizza, located at 113 Market St. in Farnworth, also received a rating of 3 during the Jan. 25 inspection.

Takeout sells a variety of items including pizza, garlic bread, calzones, kebabs, burgers, wraps and more.

Chilli’s Pizza is open Monday through Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 4 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

The restaurant has been rated generally satisfactory in all areas on the Food Standards Agency website.

One restaurant also received a new food hygiene rating of 2 out of 5.

Pizza Plus is open Tuesday through Sunday from 4:30pm to 11:45pm and closed on Mondays.

Restaurant inspection reports posted on the Food Standards Agency’s website indicate that food safety management is generally satisfactory, but improvements are needed in both hygienic food handling and the cleanliness and condition of facilities and buildings. Says.
