responsibility:
This role reports to the Deputy Director of People Strategy and Practice within the PeopleDirectorate.
Lead and manage the People Analytics and Insight team and the services it provides. This includes managing the resources of the Insight team to deliver monthly His MI products as well as developing bespoke His Insight products.
Ensure delivery of analytical tools to explore workforce issues, trends and opportunities, and incorporate business-wide issues into analysis and results to ensure effective, business-driven, evidence-based decision-making.
Serve as the focal point of expertise within the People Directorate for the use and presentation of people datasets, providing advice and direction to other teams as needed.
We deliver actionable insights from your organization’s existing talent data sources, leveraging curiosity, creativity, and experience to deliver observations that are accurate, relevant, and clearly communicated.

Responsible for workforce modeling analysis and recommendations for both paid and unpaid proposals to ensure a strong attraction and retention strategy at CQC.
Identify, assess, and prioritize risks and apply resources to monitor, mitigate, and manage impacts. Escalates risks according to agreed policies and procedures.
Design, maintain and embed a performance data framework that enables analysis and reporting of performance externally (PQ and FOI) for PDMT, Board, ET and CQC.
You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, communicating and embedding professional workforce management information services for CQC that meet the needs of HR departments, senior leaders and line managers.
Oversees accurate delivery of MI support and insight into People’s Directorate functions and leads MI coordination across People’s Directorate.
Responsible for and implementing system and process enhancements, liaising with all stakeholders including senior leadership across the business to ensure real-time (within 24 hour) reporting for line managers.
As a systems expert for the People Directorate, you will oversee effective training, input, record maintenance, data integrity, and system data review and analysis.
Ensure management information is produced in a trusted format, derive insights to inform CQC talent strategy, and foster a culture of continuous improvement through performance management.
Develops, maintains and leverages relationships with various stakeholders across the department and external to CQC to ensure understanding of business MI requirements along with relevant benchmarks.
Drive a strong people data culture by partnering with in-house experts/data and insights to ensure alignment with your organization’s data strategy.
Develop, encourage, and coach a team of experts to become a team of management information experts within the human resources department.
Provides leadership and management to a team of seven people.

Required skills and experience:
Required skills:

Extensive experience in data analysis, data reporting, and interpretation of an organization’s workforce management information to inform future talent strategies.

Project, risk and issue management experience

Experience working with systems and MI in a senior level HR environment.

Highly developed analytical skills and a desire to demonstrate insights using data – ideally with a focus on Excel and PowerBi

Effective stakeholder engagement skills with experience working with senior stakeholders.

Ability to work under pressure and adapt your and your team’s deliverables to changing priorities.

Building relationships, influencing, partnering, and collaborating.

Excellent written and oral skills

Experience in team management including coaching, developing and motivating teams.

Experience reviewing usage, training others to work on systems, and maintaining MI systems and procedures.

Excellent writing and presentation skills that can be adapted to suit the needs of different audiences.
