The purpose of this role is to support the development and delivery of analytical content that meets CQC’s strategic needs. The Analytics Content function is responsible for developing and maintaining key analytics to support how CQC regulates services.
This role will be located within acute care, community health services and ambulance teams. Associate analysts on this team maintain data collection to ensure we have the most up-to-date data available to support regulatory activities. The Associate Analyst uses a wide range of internal and external datasets and applies the most appropriate analytical techniques to develop quality and risk measures for medical and care services.

Strong analytical skills and experience in analyzing quantitative and qualitative information and an understanding of quantitative primary research techniques are required.

Required skills and experience:

Strong analytical skills and experience analyzing quantitative and qualitative information.
Understanding qualitative primary research methods.
Understand how to create data models and where to use different types.
Understand how to configure your system to make your data available and specify how to cleanse and prepare your data.
Demonstrated ability to apply techniques to analyze data and synthesize results.
Ability to translate and communicate accurate information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to identify problems and resolve or escalate as necessary.
