County Durham care home ranked in top 20 in the North East for third consecutive year

A care home in County Durham has been ranked in the top 20 best care homes in the North East for the third year in a row.

HC-One’s Melbury Court Care Home in Durham received the award as part of Carehome.co.uk’s annual regional Care Home Awards. This award is chosen by a vote of residents and their relatives.

The 87-bed home was recognized for the high quality of care it provides in residential, nursing and dementia services to the community.

We previously received a ‘Good’ report from the CQC in 2020 for our effective care, which was safe, caring, well-led and responsive.

Melbury Court received an overall rating of 9.9/10 based on independent reviews.

HC-One care homes have won nine Top 20 awards over the years since their establishment in 2011.
