Are you passionate about helping children and young people with disabilities access safe and supportive services?

WECIL are seeking a dedicated individual for the role of South Gloucestershire Short Break Manager (CQC Registered Manager).

As part of our Children and Young People’s Department, you will ensure that South Gloucestershire’s short-term leave scheme is not only safe and accessible, but also meets the unique needs of each disabled child and young person who attends our services. It plays a key role in ensuring that it is tailored to meet your needs.

This position will include a Registration Manager for South Gloucestershire Short Break Services (see application pack for details) overseeing CQC registration, as well as a Session Worker to provide a stimulating and engaging experience for children and young people. This includes managing a team of people. In our service.

Our South Gloucestershire Short Breaks service provides flexible, high quality one-to-one support tailored to the individual needs of children and young people with disabilities, in both community and home settings.

Certain individuals using our services require CQC registration as they require in-home personal care. Our provision currently supports her six children and young people who fall within the CQC registration scope. Once a suitable candidate has been appointed for this role, we will proceed with her CQC registration process, including applying for a Registered Manager position.
